New Building
Open - September 2010
The Academy opened in September 2009 on the site of the refurbished William Sharp School, and moved into purpose-built accommodation in September 2010.
The new building provides a safe, welcoming and accessible learning environment for pupils of all ages, and for community use - and has been created to be more environmentally-friendly too, with a green living roof, rain water recycling and a biodiesel boiler using renewable energy. The restaurant is the hub of Academy life, with stylish environment and quality menus. It is available for community use, including family dining.
