What is it? Enrichment involves broadening the learning experience through the use of additional subject areas and/or activities. Enrichment must serve to enhance the curriculum and the pupils learning experience.

What is it for? The purpose of Enrichment is to encourage pupils to find their skills and ambitions.

How can it be seen? Separate sessions; Self directed projects; Work experience; Clubs & societies; Targeted visits; Media – (NUSA newspaper, magazines, blogs & radio stations…); Support within class – Experts or mentors from outside the Academy working alongside pupils in lessons.

Enrichment Vision: To provide quality, safe opportunities for pupils to access a wide variety of enrichment courses and study support sessions. Through enrichment improve attainment, learning and progress, self-confidence, motivation and attendance. Positively impact upon pupils’ personal development, with specific measures for those in danger of under achieving. Re-engagement of hard to reach pupils.

Our current timetable for after school activities is available for parents and pupils from Reception.
