Drug Aware Award Parent Training: What is the ‘Drug Aware Award’? The Drug Aware Award is part of Nottingham's Early Intervention Programme, providing an inspirational standard for addressing drug and alcohol issues in the School Setting and beyond. NUSA is working towards the standard to achieve the ‘Drug Aware Award’. Pupils will receive effective drug and alcohol education throughout their development to keep them safer in situations where they may encounter substances, ensuring they understand the risks and consequences of drug and alcohol misuse and are confident to resist and prevent the harms that drugs and alcohol can cause.

Coming soon: an opportunity for parents, carers and the wider community to attend drug and alcohol awareness sessions answering the key questions about drug and alcohol misuse. The course will provide information on drug and alcohol issues, to support and encourage parents and carers to talk to their children with confidence.
