Children in Need – Friday 20 November 2009
There will be activities that your child can participate in this Friday, if they so wish, to raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal:
-
At break time the Year 11 Pathway Group will be putting on some stalls such as: Guess the sweets in the jar, a tuck shop, a sports quiz and a jumble sale.
-
Students from Pasteur 7 will be running a bake sale.
-
Some members of staff will be inviting students to soak them with wet sponges (50p a go).
-
During mentor time we are holding a competition so that the student from each House who colours in the best Pudsey Bear will win vivo miles. This will be charged at 20p per sheet.
-
Other mentor groups are conducting a sponsored silence to raise money.
Any donations in aid of Children in Need will be gratefully received. Thank you for your support.
We have all worked very hard to get everyone looking so smart – so on this occasion this is NOT a Dressing Up day. All pupils must wear the full school uniform, and anyone not in uniform will have to return home to change.
UPDATE: 30 November 2009 - a grand total of £400 was raised - congratulations, everyone!!
