On Thursday 17th December  2009, NUSA held a Community Coffee Morning, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.  The event was organised by staff and students of Curie House. We raised £602.70 - plus we still have a few more donations to add to this! 

All remaining cakes and mince pies after the event were donated to the Oncology, Breast Screening and Haywood House (Hospice) units at the City Hospital in Nottingham

We would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to all of the students, staff, parents and community partners who attended and supported the event - together with all individuals and local businesses who kindly donated prizes for the raffle and tombola.  Particular thanks go to Blueberry Foods and Brakes who donated cupcakes, mince pies and drinks for the event.
