Industrial Action on Wednesday 30th November

As you will be aware, there is a national public sector strike on Wednesday 30th in protest against proposed changes to public service pensions. Although many local schools are completely closing, we intend to remain partially open.

Year 11 – the Year 11s will have a special day focusing on improving their examination technique, motivation and skills – pupils do not have to wear uniform and normal Academy timings will apply for the day.

Years 12 and 13 – may use the Academy premises but it is unlikely that their teachers will be available.

Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 – the Academy will be closed for these year groups.
