Admissions

How do I apply for a place at the Nottingham University Samworth Academy for my child?

For pupils to join in year 7 for the next academic year (2010/2011):

Applications for places in year 7 are co-ordinated by the home local authority. Nottingham City Council co-ordinates all applications from Nottingham city residents at secondary schools. Please note that the closing date for applying on line for a place in year 7 at secondary school in September 2010 has now expired. You may no longer use the on line system to apply for a secondary place, but you can still view an application you made on line prior to the closing date.

All new applications must now be made by completing a paper application form.

Please note that applications for places in year 7 are co-ordinated by the home local authority. Nottingham City Council co-ordinates all applications from Nottingham city residents at secondary schools - contact  the Admissions and Exclusion Team (telephone 0115 915 0763 or email: admissions.exclusion@nottinghamcity.gov.uk). If you wish to apply for a city secondary school, but do not live in Nottingham city, you must contact your own local authority to obtain their common application form.
