FOOD AT NUSA

from choice catering to fine dining

All of our pupils and staff will be only too pleased to tell you about the quality of food avalable at the Academy.  In fact, we're so happy about it, we've nominated our Catering Services Manager, Arjen Janmaat, and his team for the TES "Best School Dinners 2009/10" Award!

Pupils are invited to attend school from 8:00 am onwards for a free breakfast. Lunchtime within the Academy is split into two halves, with Curie and Pasteur houses eating together, followed by Fleming and Lister - and staff generally eat their lunch with the pupils from their House in the Academy's restaurant.

With at least nine different food options available daily for lunch there's something for everyone to enjoy. Standard items on the daily menu include pizza, paninis, sandwiches, filled baguettes, a salad bar, a pasta bar, and jacket potatoes. Bottled water and fruit juices are available, together with a choice of fruit, cookies and muffins.

In addition, there's a varying two course lunch with vegetarian option - this menu is always of exceptional quality, and has included such varying items as Moroccan chicken with couscous, Lamb kofke, vegetarian stir fry wraps, chicken and mushroom pie, fish and chips, roast beef, stuffed mushrooms, and thai green curry.
