Notes on the Academy Day

• Pupils must attend from 08:50 to 15:20 daily.
• The dining room will be open before the day for breakfast for staff and students.
• Staff briefing will take place in the staffroom at 8.30 am each day.
• Food will be available in the dining room at break.
• The Academy has a split lunchbreak, immediately after period 3.
• 12:20 – pupils and staff in two Houses go to lunch. whilst the other two Houses are in mentoring groups, PSHE or House assemblies. 
• 12.45 – the 10 minute crossover time starts.
• 12:55 – pupils and staff in the remaining two Houses go to lunch. whilst the others are in mentoring groups, PSHE or House assemblies.
• All students will wear house identification to avoid confusion during the lunch period.
• At the end of period 5 there will be a 10 minute break before the extended day starts.
