Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are well.
I wanted to write to you at the end of my first week as Headteacher at NUSA. It has been a great start, and I feel very lucky to have joined such a kind and welcoming school.
This week, I’ve spent time in lessons, spoken with many students, and met lots of staff. I’ve seen how hard everyone is working and how much people care about doing their best. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the school and the community.
I believe that working closely with parents and carer’s is very important. When we work together, we can help every student do well and feel proud of their achievements. I also want to build strong links with the local community, so that NUSA continues to be a school we are all proud of.
Soon, we will be sending out a Parent Survey. This will be your chance to tell us what you think about the school so far. Your feedback will help us understand what’s going well and what we can do better. I hope you will take a few minutes to fill it in when it opens.
Thank you again for your support and for making me feel so welcome. I look forward to meeting more of you soon.
